WELCOME TO OUT OF BELLY BLOG

A faith space for the waiting, the believing, and the becoming.

Faith doesn’t grow in a day. It grows in layers. In steps. In seasons.

Most people think faith is instant, that one moment you don’t believe, and the next you are overflowing with confidence. But the truth is, faith is a journey. It begins like a mustard seed; small, quiet, and often overlooked. Yet inside that tiny seed is the power to become a tree. A shelter. A home for others.

Here at Out of Belly, we honor that process.
We understand what it means to believe while waiting, to hope while hurting, to trust even when the answers don’t come quickly.

Every time you visit this blog, you can expect a faith boost, a gentle stirring in your spirit, a fresh breath of encouragement, a reminder that you are not alone.
Each story shared here is more than just writing. These are words birthed through real-life experiences and breathed upon by the Holy Spirit.

Whether you’re just beginning to believe or you have been holding on for years, this space is for you. It is a space to grow your faith, one read at a time.

So come as you are. Sit with the stories. Let them speak to the quiet places within.
Because something powerful is coming out of your belly and it is living waters that will keep you refreshed.

WHEN GOD GIVES YOU A DATE

FOR YOUR BREAKTHROUGH

  1. The Promise Without a Date (The case of Abraham)

Abraham was told by God, “You will be the father of many nations.” (Genesis 17:4–5)He was given a promise, but not a timeline. There was no set date, no countdown. Abraham waited 25 years from the time God promised him a son to the time Isaac was born. During that time, he faced doubt, aging, the pressure of cultural expectations, and even tried to “help God” by having Ishmael through Hagar. Yet the Bible says, “Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed…” (Romans 4:18). He trusted God’s word, even when it made no sense in the natural. And God came through
